MidMichigan Impact is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing students in the Tri-City area and surrounding school districts with a high-level music performance experience. Through a competitive performance ensemble, we offer young musicians the opportunity to grow artistically, work collaboratively, and perform at an elite level.

Our mission is to teach students valuable life lessons while encouraging them to improve their performance skills.

At MidMichigan Impact, we aim to provide students with a high-level performance outlet that nurtures both musical growth and personal development. Though competitions motivate excellence, our true focus is on creating an environment where students can have fun, while learning and challenging themselves on their skills and techniques to improve their musicianship. We believe our members will not only advance as musicians, but also as individuals— gaining discipline, learning teamwork and growing through new experiences.

Mid-Michigan Impact was a huge learning experience for me, as it was my first introduction to indoor drumline. In my three seasons with the group, I grew tremendously as both a performer and a person with the help of the welcoming community & the dedicated staff. It helped push me to keep improving my skills and was a very important step in helping me reach my goal of earning a top spot on a University Snare Line.
